Certified Dental Assistant

Job Overview

We are excited to welcome a motivated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to our team at Revive Smiles.
This position is initially to cover time off in December, with the possibility of continuing as a full-time role for the right candidate.

The ideal applicant is HARP-certified, has experience assisting with surgical procedures (especially implants), and feels comfortable using digital intraoral scanners. However, we also encourage enthusiastic, quick learners who are eager to grow in a supportive, surgery-focused dental environment to apply.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients and treatment rooms for dental implant surgeries and general procedures
• Assist the dentist during surgical and routine dental treatments
• Take and process X-rays (HARP certification required)
• Perform intraoral scanning for impressions and treatment planning
• Maintain strict sterilization and infection control protocols
• Organize and manage surgical instruments and supplies
• Provide post-op instructions and ensure a positive patient experience
• Accurately chart and record clinical information

Qualifications

• HARP Certification (required)
• Experience in surgical dentistry and/or dental implants preferred
• Familiarity with digital scanners (Trios, iTero,Shinning 3D etc.) is an asset
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Familiarity with dental software is a plus
