Delivery Driver and Warehouse

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Delivery/Warehouse Worker to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring that our appliances are delivered efficiently and safely to our customers while also assisting in warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills, experience in warehouse settings, and the ability to handle heavy lifting and driving responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload appliances from delivery vehicles, ensuring safe handling of materials.
• Operate box trucks and other delivery vehicles for route driving, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Assist in warehouse operations including inventory management, organization of stock, and maintaining a clean work environment.
• Utilize forklifts and pallet jacks for moving heavy items within the warehouse.
• Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing any customer inquiries or concerns professionally.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safe operation.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize delivery routes and improve efficiency.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a warehouse environment is required.
• Experience as a delivery driver of large items (appliances, furniture, electronics, etc.) is required.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; Q endorsement (Air Brake) is a plus.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
• Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks throughout the day.
• Familiarity with operating forklifts and pallet jacks is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
