Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Line Chef to join our team at Shanny's. As a Line Chef, you will be responsible for assisting with food preparation and ensuring the smooth operation of the kitchen as well as performing nightly dinner service on the line.

You must be self-starting and fully comfortable and capable cooking a busy service independently.

Duties:
- Assist in preparing ingredients for cooking, such as chopping vegetables and preparing sauces
- Follow recipes and portion control guidelines to ensure consistent quality
- Cook and plate food items according to established standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper storage of ingredients
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure efficient workflow and timely service
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations
- Assist in receiving and storing deliveries as needed

Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
