Role Summary:

As a Field Technician, you will play a crucial role in servicing and monitoring sites in accordance with local regulations requirements. The successful candidate will be responsible for equipment mobilization and demobilization, setup, troubleshooting, and basic operation of high-pressure pumps, diesel pumps, and generators. A strong understanding of pump mechanisms and field operations is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the setup and removal of systems at project sites, ensuring timely execution
  • Perform regular maintenance, and troubleshoot any issues that arise
  • Set up and dismantle high-pressure and diesel-powered pumps safely and efficiently
  • Operate, monitor, and perform basic troubleshooting on pumps and generators
  • Conduct pre- and post-operation checks and routine maintenance
  • Assist in diagnosing mechanical issues and support minor field repairs
  • Create service reports and fill out log sheets as required for each site
  • Adhere to safety procedures and actively participate in safety initiatives to foster a safe working environment
  • Maintain strong customer relationships, addressing complaints and gathering feedback throughout projects
  • Be available for on-call and emergency situations as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training a plus
  • Experience in Fluid Bypass and Dewatering a plus
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and basic understanding of pump and generator operation
  • Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals and schematics
  • Comfortable working in outdoor and remote environments
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license with a clean driving record is mandatory
  • Ability to work unsupervised throughout the workday
  • Willingness to travel 3-5 consecutive days and work overtime as needed, particularly during rainy seasons

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
