Job Description
The Escrow Clerk is responsible for the day-to-day administration, maintenance, and reconciliation of escrow accounts related to property taxes, hazard insurance, and flood insurance. This position ensures accurate and timely disbursements to insurance carriers and taxing authorities, performs monthly escrow analyses, and supports integrated disclosure requirements under TRID. The Escrow Clerk also provides operational support for credit disputes and other tasks as assigned to ensure efficient, compliant loan servicing.
Essential Duties, Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
Escrow Administration
- Maintain and monitor escrow accounts for customers, ensuring accurate setup and ongoing maintenance.
- Process and verify invoices for property taxes, hazard insurance, and flood insurance.
- Issue timely disbursements to insurance companies, taxing authorities, and other vendors.
- Track expiring insurance policies and follow up with customers or agents as required.
- Reconcile escrow accounts daily, monthly, and annually to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance.
- Conduct monthly escrow analyses and generate required escrow statements for customers.
Integrated Disclosures (TRID)
- Prepare and issue accurate and compliant Loan Estimates (LEs) in accordance with TRID requirements.
- Assist with monitoring change-of-circumstance events and ensure timely re-disclosures.
- Work collaboratively with lenders, processors, and compliance to maintain TRID accuracy and timelines.
Credit Disputes & Loan Operations Support
- Assist with intake, research, and resolution of customer credit reporting disputes.
- Work with credit bureaus, internal departments, and system records to ensure accurate reporting.
- Provide general support within the Loan Operations Department, including document review, data entry, and imaging.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management to support overall loan servicing, operations, and compliance initiatives.
Required Skills:
- Proficient in the use of PC software including Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong organizational skills and effective time management
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision
- Excellent oral, written communication and presentation skills

- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to assume additional tasks and responsibility as assigned by management
Education/Experience/Certifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or banking coursework preferred.
- Previous experience in loan operations, escrow administration, mortgage servicing, or related banking roles is highly preferred.
- Working knowledge of TRID and loan estimates is a plus.
