is seeking an OVER THE HIGHWAY HEAVY HAUL TRUCK DRIVER. Spruce Hollow Heavy Haul is a family run Heavy Haul Trucking company with operations based out of Abbotsford, BC and Calgary, AB. We move heavy equipment and freight across Western Canada and throughout the USA with modular trailers up to 16 axles in different configurations depending on the load. We have an exemplary reputation in the Heavy Haul industry and are looking for team players to join our team.

A successful applicant must meet the following requirements:

• Class 1 Driver's license plus a
  minimum of two (2) years driver's experience, preferably experience in Heavy Haul
• Extensive knowledge and experience in various types of tractor and trailer configurations.
• Knowledge and mechanical understanding of tractors and trailers
• Knowledge of cross border hauling (asset but not mandatory)
• Knowledge with loading and unloading heavy equipment and loads
• Basic understanding in the National Safety Code and HOS regulations
• Comprehensive understanding FMCSA and NSC regulations
• Basic understanding of ELD's (electronic use to upload hours and log daily activity)
• Ability to adapt in a fast-paced and ever changing environment
• Works well in a team environment
• Ability to take direction

Tasks

• Load , unload ,setup RGN trailers
• Transport over dimensional and multi axle loads
• Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes and other equipment
• Perform pre-trip, enroute and post-trip inspections and oversee all aspects of vehicle
• Receive and relay information to central dispatch
• Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption
• Over the road driver

Salary:

100,000 to 160,000 per year based on experience. Weekly pay
