Make an impact with our Consulting team as a Consultant with a focus in Human Resources. This diverse team of professionals develops innovative and practical HR solutions for our clients. Responsibilities
- Partner with clients to understand workforce needs and deliver tailored HR strategies that drive business objectives
- Lead and optimize HR operations for multiple clients, including talent acquisition, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, learning and development, change initiatives, culture-building, and offboarding
- Conduct research using primary and secondary data sources (interviews, focus groups, surveys, reports, and administrative records) to generate actionable insights.
- Support proposal development and manage client engagements from planning through completion
- Oversee practice management activities, including business development, timely invoicing, proposal writing, and project management (setup, timelines, deliverable tracking, stakeholder communication, documentation, and closure)
- Promote positive, inclusive workplace cultures by supporting engagement programs and advising on leading HR practices
- Act as a trusted partner and advocate for clients and employees, fostering collaboration, respect, and continuous improvement
- Maintain flexibility to travel, as necessary
Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum 3–5 years of HR generalist experience (or equivalent)
- Strong knowledge of provincial and federal employment legislation and HR leading practices
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with professionalism and confidentiality
- CPHR designation or progress toward designation is an asset
- Strong relationship builder with a service-focused mindset
- Proactive, organized, and comfortable working independently
- Able to navigate sensitive or complex HR matters with discretion
- Collaborative and adaptable in a fast-paced, evolving environment
