Part-time OCT Math

Best Brains of Courtice, a learning center, is seeking Part-time Ontario Certified Teachers(OCT) to teach Math and English to students. Class sizes are small, and students range from 3 to 14 years old.

About the role:

Job features:

• Small Class sizes.
• No lesson planning.
• Teaching via booklets - structured and planned curriculum.

Job Duties:

• Conduct small group tutoring sessions with students.
• Provide instruction to students of grades JK-8 in English and Math
• Utilize computerized resources and educational software to enhance learning.
• Monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods as needed.
• Communicate with parents or guardians to provide updates on student performance.

Requirements:

• 2-3 years of teaching/tutoring experience.
• Ontario College of Teachers (OCT) is a MUST.
• Degree in Education or related field.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Patience, empathy, and a passion for helping students succeed.
• Able to work part-time and independently.
