We work Monday to Friday and therefore there is no weekend working required
*Responsibilities*
* *Vehicle Diagnostics:* Use cutting-edge diagnostic equipment to identify and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults.
* *Repairs and Maintenance:* Carry out a wide range of repairs and routine maintenance tasks, including engine work, brake systems, suspension, exhaust systems, and more.
* *Quality Assurance:* Ensure all work is carried out to the highest standards, ensuring safety and reliability for our customers.
* *Customer Service:* Provide clear explanations of issues and repairs to customers when required.
* *Record Keeping:* Maintain accurate records of all work completed.
* *Team Collaboration:* Work closely with the team and management to ensure smooth daily operations.
*Essential Skills & Qualifications:*
* You will need to be a qualified Vehicle Technician with a formal qualification in Automotive City & Guilds/NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent qualification) with at least 3 years experience.
* Proven experience working as a motor technician, ideally in a dealership or independent garage setting.
* Strong understanding of vehicle systems and diagnostics.
* Ability to work efficiently, both independently and as part of a team.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Full UK driving license.
*Desirable Skills:*
* Experience with hybrid/electric vehicles/training will be given
* Knowledge of the latest diagnostic tools and technology.
* Previous experience in customer-facing roles.
