Job Title: Machine Maintenance Technician – Rotating 12-Hour Schedule (Direct Hire)

Location: West Bridgewater, MA
Pay: $24–$32/hour base + night & weekend differentials

About the Role

We are seeking a Machine Maintenance Technician to support daily maintenance operations in a high-volume production environment. This role focuses on troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production and packaging equipment. Ideal candidates have at least two years of hands-on mechanical and electrical maintenance experience.

Shift Schedule (Rotating 12-Hour Nights)

This is one rotating 3rd shift schedule, alternating every week:

Week A (3 days)

Tuesday – 6 PM–6 AM (+$2 night differential)
Wednesday – 6 PM–6 AM (+$2 night differential)
Saturday – 6 PM–6 AM (+$2 night + $3 weekend differential)

Week B (4 days)

Sunday – 6 PM–6 AM (+$2 night + $3 weekend differential)
Monday – 6 PM–6 AM (+$2 night differential)
Thursday – 6 PM–6 AM (+$2 night differential)
Friday – 6 PM–6 AM (+$2 night differential)

Key Notes:

• Week A = 3 shifts
• Week B = 4 shifts
• Every other week includes guaranteed overtime

Compensation

• Base Pay: $24–$32/hour (depending on experience)
• Night Differential: +$2/hour on all weekday night shifts
• Weekend Differential: +$3/hour on Saturday & Sunday nights
• Weekly pay
• Guaranteed OT every other week

Qualifications

• 2+ years of machine or equipment maintenance in a production environment
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting capabilities
• Experience with pneumatics/hydraulics preferred
• PLC knowledge a plus
• Ability to read maintenance instructions and complete documentation

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and emergency maintenance on production and packaging equipment
• Conduct preventive maintenance tasks and inspections
• Perform product changeovers as needed
• Troubleshoot mechanical/electrical failures
• Support building maintenance tasks
• Communicate major repair needs or required spare parts
• Complete all required maintenance paperwork
