My client is a leading engineering consultancy based in central London. With a strong reputation for delivering innovative and effective engineering solutions, they pride themselves on their expertise in structural design and temporary works. We have a new opporutnity for a dynamic and experienced Head of Temporary Works Design to lead a dedicated team and drive forward their ambitious growth plans.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the Temporary Works Design team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality design solutions.
Develop and implement strategic plans for the temporary works division, aligning with the overall goals of the consultancy.
Oversee the design and checking of temporary works schemes, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliver solutions that meet or exceed expectations.
Conduct regular reviews and audits of temporary works designs to ensure safety, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
Stay updated with industry trends, innovations, and best practices, integrating them into the consultancy's processes and offerings.
