Senior Project Manager – Industrial Design-Build Projects
Responsibilities
  • Lead the full lifecycle of industrial design-build projects, from pre-construction and design coordination through construction and project closeout.

  • Oversee project budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure delivery on time, within scope, and on budget.

  • Manage design teams, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure design intent aligns with construction feasibility.

  • Coordinate with owners, stakeholders, and internal teams to resolve technical issues and maintain project alignment.

  • Implement and maintain risk management strategies, including identification, mitigation, and monitoring.

  • Supervise contract administration, including change orders, RFIs, submittals, and compliance with contract requirements.

  • Lead project meetings, provide status updates, and prepare executive reports for senior management and clients.

  • Ensure adherence to quality, safety, and regulatory standards across all project phases.

  • Drive collaboration between design and construction teams to optimize constructability, cost, and schedule.

  • Mentor and guide project management teams, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.


Qualifications
  • 10+ years of project management experience in industrial construction, with proven design-build project leadership.

  • Strong experience managing projects with multi-million-dollar budgets and complex industrial systems.

  • Extensive knowledge of design-build delivery methodology, construction methods, and sequencing.

  • Proficiency in project management and scheduling software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project, Procore, or similar).

  • Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, cost control, forecasting, and reporting.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.

  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and contract documents accurately.

  • Experience managing multidisciplinary teams and coordinating consultants, contractors, and owners.

  • Relevant degree in Construction Management, Civil/Mechanical Engineering, or related field.

  • Valid safety certifications and a strong understanding of industrial safety standards.
