Job Responsibilities
As a Logistics Specialist, you will focus on managing last-mile delivery operations and ensuring seamless coordination with our first-mile logistics team to deliver an excellent end-to-end customer experience.
Courier & Last-Mile Operations
- Oversee daily courier and last-mile delivery processes to ensure accurate and on-time delivery.
- Work closely with courier partners (e.g., FedEx, UPS, Purolator) to maintain strong relationships and negotiate cost-effective service terms.
- Handle claims, delays, or exceptions efficiently, providing quick solutions and communication with internal teams.
Coordination & Cost Control
- Collaborate with the first-mile and warehouse teams to align shipment handoffs and improve overall logistics flow.
- Review and reconcile courier invoices and shipping costs, ensuring accuracy and budget compliance.
Process Optimization & Reporting
- Identify opportunities to streamline courier workflows and improve delivery performance.
- Generate periodic logistics reports, analyzing delivery success rates, costs, and service quality metrics.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree or higher, preferably in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Experience: At least 2 years of relevant experience in logistics, warehousing, or supply chain management; experience in eCommerce is an asset.
Skills:
- Proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools.
- Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Language: Proficiency in Mandarin is an asset for communication with overseas teams and suppliers.
Soft Skills:
- A proactive mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- A strong sense of responsibility and commitment to excellence.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $45,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
