Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Office Administrator to join our clients team within the textile recycling industry, job hours are 8 Am to 4 Pm, Monday to Friday. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our clients office environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational and communication skills, along with a solid background in administrative tasks, bookkeeping, and human resources. As an Office Administrator, managing vendor relationships, and overseeing various clerical functions.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate daily office activities to ensure efficient operations
  • Manage front desk responsibilities including greeting visitors and handling multi-line phone systems
  • Oversee human resources functions such as payroll processing
  • Maintain accurate bookkeeping records using Sage accounting software and manage budgeting tasks (training will be provided as there is a learning curve from quickbooks)
  • Organize filing systems to ensure easy access to documents and information
  • Handle vendor management duties, ensuring timely communication and service delivery
  • Provide administrative support including scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and managing correspondence
  • Foster a positive team environment through effective team management and communication

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in an office or administrative role with a focus on clerical tasks
  • 1-6 years of experience in Microsoft Excel
  • 1-6 years experience in Quickbooks Accounting Software and web server for bookkeeping and financial management (training will be provided for Sage software)
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on phone etiquette
  • Familiarity with payroll processes and human resources practices is advantageous
  • Experience with vendor management and maintaining professional relationships

Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour
