Position Overview

A&T Human Resources is recruiting for an
Engineer – MRB Liaison
to support a Tier 1 aerospace manufacturer in Mississauga, Ontario. This role is responsible for managing structural repairs during aircraft manufacturing and performing Material Review Board (MRB) duties. The successful candidate will provide engineering support across design, development, assembly, testing, and repair processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and analyze structural repair dispositions for non-conformances.
  • Develop rapid repair solutions ensuring structural integrity in a fast-paced environment.
  • Adhere to MRB and QA procedures.
  • Collaborate with inspectors, mechanics, engineers, and management.
  • Stay current with aircraft structural developments and recommend improvements.
  • Investigate and resolve manufacturing and engineering issues affecting assembly or functionality.
  • Provide written instructions to restore non-conforming parts to original specifications.
  • Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and policies.
  • Liaise with design, stress, and materials engineering teams.
  • Advise on manufacturing methods, cost, and schedule improvements.
  • Support corrective action requests and maintain cross-departmental coordination.
  • Report significant manufacturing changes or issues to the Supervisor.
  • Flag design features that may impact safety or assembly feasibility.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of MRB experience in Liaison Engineering, preferably on Bombardier programs.
  • Proficiency in basic stress analysis.
  • Aerospace design experience is an asset.
  • Strong knowledge of aircraft structures, systems installation, materials, and hardware.
  • Familiarity with Catia V4/V5 and/or AutoCAD.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a high-pressure, team-oriented environment.

Education

  • Degree or diploma in Engineering from a recognized institution.
