Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Grill Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and cooking, with a focus on delivering high-quality meals in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Duties

• Prepare and cook grilled dishes according to standard recipes and presentation guidelines
• Ensure all food is prepared safely, adhering to food handling and safety regulations
• Assist in meal preparation, including chopping, marinating, and assembling ingredients
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grill station and surrounding areas
• Serve food efficiently and courteously to guests, ensuring a positive dining experience
• Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure optimal quality and safety
• Follow all kitchen procedures for food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy periods

Skills

• Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or as a line cook in a restaurant setting
• Knowledge of food handling safety standards and sanitation practices
• Strong understanding of meal preparation techniques, especially grilling methods
• Excellent serving skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
• Familiarity with the food industry's best practices for quality control and safety
• Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Good organizational skills with attention to detail in food presentation and cleanliness
• Prior restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $17.20 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
