Shift: Days: Monday to Thursday 6:00AM - 4:30PM

With over 35 years of operations in the utility industry, Cam Tran is highly depended upon by most major Canadian Electrical Utility Companies as a primary supplier for the essential power service. We want to immediately offer an individual the opportunity to be a part of this industry and join our family of transformer assembly operators, with a full-time permanent employment contract

About the Role: This is more than just a production job—it's an opportunity to be part of something essential. Our General Production Operators work across multiple departments and learn a variety of tasks that help build and assemble high-quality transformer products. You might be prepping materials, operating machines, assembling components, or helping with winding or finishing: it's hands-on, physical work where no two days feel the same. You won't just be doing repetitive work, & you'll see how your part fits into the bigger picture, helping build something that powers entire communities.

• Follow job-specific work instructions to complete hands-on production tasks safely and accurately
• Set up materials/equipment and maintain a clean, organized work area
• Perform quality checks at every step and speak up if something doesn't look right
• Keep production moving by reviewing schedules and communicating material needs
• Work efficiently to meet or exceed daily time standards—our team thrives on hitting goals together
• Support your teammates—jump in and help when you can
• Follow Cam Tran's ISO procedures and safety protocols consistently
• Actively participate in team huddles and offer feedback and ideas
• Take care of your tools and equipment—do pre-use safety checks and report issues
• Other duties assigned by the Value Stream Supervisor

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent, with relevant manufacturing experience preferred.
• You're reliable, hands-on, and not afraid to get a little dirty

• You've got a natural mechanical mindset & enjoy figuring out how things work & troubleshooting when something's off

• You're not shy about asking questions or offering ideas to improve the team
• You show up on time, pitch in wherever needed, and have your teammates' backs
