Overview
We are seeking a friendly and energetic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. This role involves preparing and serving beverages, engaging with customers, and maintaining a clean and organized bar area. Prior experience in food and beverage service, especially in a restaurant or hospitality setting, is highly valued. Candidates should be comfortable handling cash transactions, operating POS systems such as Micros POS, and adhering to food safety standards. Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently and accurately
  • Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner to enhance their experience
  • Operate POS systems including Micros POS for order processing and cash handling
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards
  • Manage multiple drink orders simultaneously while ensuring quality and presentation
  • Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashing out customers at the end of shifts
  • Restock bar supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation during service hours
  • Follow all food handling and safety regulations diligently
  • Assist in setting up the bar before opening and closing procedures after hours

Experience

  • Previous restaurant or food service experience preferred, especially in bartending roles
  • Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally
  • Knowledge of basic math for accurate cash handling and change calculation
  • Experience with serving alcohol responsibly and understanding of alcohol laws
  • Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent time management skills to ensure prompt service during busy hours
  • Basic understanding of food safety practices within the hospitality industry

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.20-$18.50 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 25 per week
