Position: Heavy Duty Mechanic
Type: Fulltime Permanent
Location: Langford, BC
Compensation: up to $50/hour + $10,000 Relocation Package + Industry Leading Bonus Program

What You'll Do:
- Perform diagnostic inspections and troubleshooting on heavy-duty trucks and trailers.
- Conduct repairs and preventative maintenance on engines, brakes, electrical systems, and other mechanical components.
- Ensure all work is completed according to manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used.
- Test drive vehicles to verify repair effectiveness.
- Collaborate with team members to solve complex mechanical issues.
- Stay current with industry best practices and emerging technologies.
- Assist with parts ordering and inventory management as needed.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
What You Bring:
- Red Seal certification or equivalent in Heavy Duty Mechanic/Truck & Transport Technician
- Proven experience working with heavy-duty trucks and trailers
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills for mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and repair equipment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Knowledge of safety procedures and adherence to safety standards
Preferred:
- Class 1 or 3 driver's license
- CVI (Commercial Vehicle Inspection) license
- Previous experience in a dealership shop environment
