Part-Time Nurse (RN/LPN)
Shift: daytime hours (24 hours per week)
About the Role
As a Nurse (RN/LPN) at High Point Residence Quincy, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care in a supportive and compassionate environment. Your primary responsibilities will include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care to support the physical and emotional well-being of our residents. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create individualized care plans, monitor resident progress, and provide education to residents and their families on health management and disease prevention. Your work will directly enhance residents’ quality of life and foster a positive, caring community.
Minimum Qualifications
Current RN or LPN license in the state of Illinois
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in long-term care or geriatric nursing
Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems
Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive health assessments for residents
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
Document and monitor residents’ progress and responses to interventions
Collaborate with healthcare team members and families to support care goals
Skills
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking abilities
Effective communication with residents, families, and team members
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Proficiency with EHR systems
Experience in geriatric nursing (preferred)
