Title and Summary
Director, Business Development, Global Digital Assets & Blockchain
Overview:
The Global Partnerships team is seeking a Director of Global Business Development to advance our digital assets and blockchain customer experience strategy through innovation and problem-solving. The ideal candidate is passionate about customer experience, digital assets, blockchain technology, and possesses an entrepreneurial mindset.
Role:
Drive global business development in digital assets and blockchain.
Manage all global account management tasks aligning with Mastercard standards to meet strategic and commercial goals, and build relationships with leading crypto and blockchain companies worldwide.
Facilitate product innovation based on customer feedback.
Establish Mastercard’s presence in the crypto and blockchain industry by connecting with exchanges, wallets, layer 1 protocols, onramps, and relevant entities.
Onboard and train new team members in business development and account management, guiding their growth and account handling in line with Mastercard standards.
Achieve revenue and product targets in acquiring and issuing related to digital assets and blockchain.
Collaborate with stakeholders across various departments and regions to drive business and shape the future of the digital economy.
Review and expand target segments based on new opportunities and product launches.

Have experience in business development and account management.
Be comfortable in fast-paced, innovative environments.
Proactively understand customer needs and identify solutions.
Identify complementary products or services for customers.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, including executive management.
Possess a strong work ethic with a sense of urgency and ownership.
Have experience managing escalations.
Be willing and able to travel internationally.
Have relevant experience and a network in the blockchain and crypto ecosystem.

Pay Ranges
San Francisco, CA: $172,000 - $275,000 USD
New York City, NY: $172,000 - $275,000 USD
