Building world-class technology teams for pioneering healthtech ventures across UK, US and EMEA | Podcast Host | NPS +89 | 57 Recommendations Feeling like your technical talent is going unused? Here’s where you can shape strategy, influence decisions, and architect real change.
What’s in it for you
You’ll use your architecture expertise to influence how a major business builds, scales, and modernises its technology landscape. Instead of fighting outdated processes or hitting ceilings, you’ll be the person who brings clarity, direction, and technical leadership to some of the business' most meaningful transformation work.
You’ll design solutions used by millions, work across cloud, microservices and modern engineering practices, and help define the standards that guide how technology evolves across the organisation.
And you get to do it in a business recognised by The Sunday Times Top 10 Best Places to Work 2024—with flexibility, trust, great benefits, and a purpose‑driven culture behind you.
What you’ll be doing (and why you’ll enjoy it)
Designing end-to-end solutions that cross product, system and technology boundaries — which means
you’ll have visibility and influence across the whole estate , not just a single team.
Acting as the go‑to expert when architectural challenges arise —
your technical judgement will directly shape outcomes .
Providing proposals, estimates and strategic input on new initiatives —
you’ll help decide what gets built and how .
Creating and owning Solution Design documentation and securing the right approvals —
your work becomes the blueprint teams follow .
Contributing to enterprise design patterns and being part of the architecture governing body —
your ideas set the standards for future builds .
Supporting product enhancements throughout development and delivery —
you’ll stay close to engineering, not stuck in an ivory tower .
Assisting with incidents, problem management and root cause analysis —
you’ll help fix what matters and prevent repeat issues .
Encouraging continuous improvement across engineering teams —
your leadership helps build better, faster, stronger systems .
Hybrid working:
2 days per week
in any office (Bournemouth, London or Stockport). Flexible working open for discussion.
What you’ll need
Ability to assess emerging tech and understand its long‑term impact.
A talent for explaining complex technical ideas simply — to any audience.
Agile mindset (SAFe experience a bonus).
The ability to juggle multiple priorities and stay calm in fast‑moving environments.
A mix of collaboration and independence — someone who can lead but also self‑drive.
Analytical thinking and a solutions‑focused approach.
Where you’ll be doing it
A purpose‑led, award‑winning brand with more than 1.7 million customers.
You’ll be part of a tech function that supports a business built on helping people live healthier, longer, better lives. This is a place that genuinely invests in its people: giving flexibility, encouraging innovation, and recognising ambition.
What you’ll get
Here’s a snapshot of the benefits you can look forward to:
Bonus schemes
linked to your performance.
Pension up to 12%
(matched up to 6%).
Vitality health insurance
with rewards and benefits.
And a long list of additional perks on the careers page.
Plus, a genuine promise:
They commit to flexibility, career growth, inclusion, recognition, wellbeing support, and a culture where you’re encouraged to innovate, experiment, and contribute to something meaningful.
What next?
You don’t need an up-to-date CV.
Just send what you have — or if it’s easier,
drop a message or arrange an informal chat first .
