The Information Technology (IT) Application Support Analyst II will assist with the implementation, support, and ongoing maintenance of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations across Komlines growing organization. The IT Application Support Analyst II will work closely with the Dynamics 365 System Administrator to ensure smooth daily operations, manage user support tickets, and participate in the change management process as Komline continues to standardize and optimize systems across multiple sites. Roles And Responsibilities Provide functional and technical support for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations modules to ensure timely resolution of user issues and service requests. Manage and triage tickets in the IT service management system, collaborating with business users and the System Administrator to prioritize and resolve incidents. Assist in user onboarding and training and offer functional guidance to support new users and processes. Develop and maintain user documentation, such as training materials, quick?reference guides, and standard operating procedures. Support configuration and maintenance of system setups, workflows, and security roles in accordance with company policies. Coordinate with developers and external partners to support integrations, extensions, and customizations. Participate in system testing activities, which include regression, user acceptance, and post?deployment validation. Assist with system upgrades, including user communications, testing responsibilities, and vendor coordination. Collaborate with the Change Advisory Board (CAB) to review, test, and deploy system updates, patches, and new functionality. Maintain accurate documentation of configurations, changes, and deployments. Contribute to process improvement initiatives by identifying recurring issues and recommending long?term solutions. Stay current on Microsoft releases and updates to assess their impact on system configurations and business processes. Support financial and operational reporting needs by assisting users with Power BI dashboards, Excel add?ins, and other data extraction tools. Partner with business stakeholders to document requirements, perform gap analyses, and identify enhancements within Dynamics 365. Ensure system configurations align with established business processes and compliance requirements.
Required Qualifications
Bachelors Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O, particularly within the manufacturing industry. 13 years of experience in IT application support or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) support. Understanding of incident management and change control processes (e.g., ITIL framework). Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and verbal/written communication skills. Experience with Microsoft tools and environments (e.g., Power Platform, Azure AD, Office 365, etc.). Ability to manage complexity that arises from differences and varying priorities across various stakeholder groups. The ability to travel up to 50% or more to support the deployment of Microsoft D365 at the various business locations.
