Overview We are expanding our team of client‑facing solution and data architects. You will work on assignments related to solution architecture, data strategy and technology project delivery, often designing new digital products such as cloud services, data integration, analytics (incl. AI/ML) and GIS applications for clients across the built environment.
Key Responsibilities
Design and articulate technical solutions that meet client needs and align with Arup’s strategic goals.
Translate business requirements into detailed solution, data and cloud architecture.
Collaborate with software engineering teams to support development and delivery.
Define non‑functional requirements, assess risks and manage dependencies.
Engage with clients to understand their challenges, present concepts and validate designs.
Champion sustainable, scalable and secure design principles in all projects.
What We Are Looking For
Experience in one or more built‑environment markets: Energy, Water, Rail, Highways, Aviation, Buildings or Sustainability.
Successful delivery of technology projects or products in IT, consulting or services environments.
In‑depth knowledge of solution, data, cloud, integration or enterprise architecture.
Strong business analysis skills, with experience writing non‑functional requirements and managing risk and dependencies.
Background in the software development lifecycle, familiarity with agile and waterfall, and experience with the Government Digital Services (GDS) Framework.
