In order to support SAP projects/changes in the future and to strengthen our team in Winnenden, we are looking for an

SAP Developer (f/m/d) – 12 months fixed term

• Provide input into the design of SAP enhancements and rollouts, offering proactive advice to functional consultants and business partners
• Analyze business requirements and create technical specifications for ABAP programming work and all module interfaces, translating requirements into an appropriate system design and version control of deliverables
• Code application components
• Ensure sustainable, scalable, flexible and template-conform solutions with good performance
• Ensure developments are coded in a way that complies with SAP best practices
• Project management of multiple small concurrent coding projects
• Drive resolution and be responsible for assigned tasks and their deliverables
• Ensure on time delivery of developments and proactively seek support when required
• Document, prepare and execute unit test plans and support project test cycles
• Perform quality reviews of documentation, code and test plans
• Demonstrate a structured approach to time management and task prioritization
• Guide and manage external ABAP developers if applicable
• Provide periodic progress updates and development status

• Good development skills of the following areas with relevant hands-on coding experience:
  • SAP ABAP and SAP ABAP OO, Data Dictionary, IDoc message processing, BADIs/BAPIs, ABAP Objects programming, SAP user exits/enhancements
  • Fiori, SAPUI5 preferred
• Debugging skills in ABAP and trouble-shooting skills in general
• Knowledge of SAP Gateway configuration and development
• Experience in forms development with Adobe PDF and Smartforms preferred
• Experience of working on a highly customized SAP system
• Knowledge of SAP functional areas, particularly SD, LE and WM is a plus
• An interest in understanding business processes and challenges in order to effectively develop technical solutions while considering changing demands to ensure efficiency
• Strong knowledge of system and software quality assurance best practices and methodologies
• Willingness to learn new technologies with an analytical approach to problem-solving
• Willingness to travel within Europe when required
• Good English skills
