Key Responsibilities
Policy Compliance & Documentation
* Ensure 100% compliance with all company policies, procedures, and standards across all store operations
* Conduct daily policy compliance audits and address violations immediately
* Document all policy violations, incidents, and corrective actions in detail using company's reporting systems
* Maintain accurate incident logs including customer complaints, employee issues, safety concerns, and operational discrepancies
* Create and submit comprehensive incident reports within 24 hours of occurrence
* Conduct monthly policy review sessions with all staff members
* Serve as a liaison with the corporate compliance team
Operational Management
* Oversee daily store operations ensuring smooth functionality during high-traffic periods.
* Manage inventory control, product rotation, and maintain optimal stock levels for products
* Ensure proper handling, storage, and display of perishable items
* Monitor and maintain product quality standards and freshness dates
* Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely deliveries
* Implement and maintain visual merchandising standards
* Manage cash handling procedures and daily reconciliation
Team Leadership & Development
* Recruit, hire, train, and develop a high-performing team
* Create and maintain staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours
* Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback
* Document all performance issues, coaching sessions, and disciplinary actions
* Foster a positive work environment focused on customer service excellence
* Lead by example in demonstrating company values and standards
Customer Experience
* Ensure exceptional customer service standards are maintained at all times
* Proactively address customer concerns and resolve complaints promptly
* Monitor customer feedback and implement improvements
* Maintain expert knowledge of products to assist customers effectively
* Oversee special orders and custom requests
Financial Management
* Meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs
* Monitor and control operational expenses
* Identify opportunities for revenue growth and cost reduction
Proactive Management
* Anticipate and prevent potential issues before they occur
* Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules
* Create contingency plans for high-traffic periods and special events
* Identify and address training gaps before they impact operations
* Stay ahead of inventory needs and seasonal demands
* Proactively communicate with upper management about store needs and concerns
Health, Safety & Compliance
* Ensure strict adherence to health and safety regulations
* Maintain required food handling certifications
* Conduct regular safety inspections and document findings
* Coordinate with inspectors and ensure passing scores
* Implement and monitor loss prevention strategies
* Ensure compliance with labor laws and local and federal regulations
Required Qualifications
* Minimum 3-5 years of retail management experience, preferably in gourmet food or specialty retail
* Proven track record of policy enforcement and documentation
* Strong leadership and team management skills
* Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
* Proficiency in retail management systems and MS Office
* Food safety certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
* Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
* 8-12 hours + or - store needs
Preferred Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Retail Management, or related field
* Experience managing high-volume retail locations
* Knowledge of gourmet food products and culinary trends
* Bilingual abilities
* Experience with inventory management systems
* Demonstrated success in loss prevention
Physical Requirements
* Ability to stand for extended periods
* Capable of lifting up to 70 pounds
* Ability to work in refrigerated areas
* Manual dexterity for operating equipment (pallet jack and forklifts)

Pay: $40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
