Job Advert: Registered Manager (Care Home)
Location: Ilford Essex Salary: £55,000 – £65,000 per annum (dependent on experience) Hours: Full-Time, Permanent
Role Overview: We are seeking a passionate and experienced Registered Manager to lead our dedicated care team and oversee the smooth running of our care home. As a Registered Manager, you will ensure the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care, driving continuous improvement and compliance with all regulatory (CQC) standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead, manage, and develop the care team, ensuring excellent standards of care and support.
Ensure compliance with CQC regulations, safeguarding policies, and best practices.
Manage budgets, occupancy levels, and operational performance efficiently.
Recruit, train, and supervise staff, supporting their professional development.
Maintain effective communication with residents, families, staff, and external stakeholders.
Essential Requirements:
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
Proven track record as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager in elderly or dementia care homes.
In-depth knowledge of CQC regulations, care standards, and safeguarding processes.
Excellent leadership, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
A genuine passion for elderly care and improving the quality of life for residents.
