*Job Summary:* BACH is seeking an ASHA-certified, Texas state-licensed, Speech Language Pathologist who enjoys working with a dynamic team providing intervention for children from birth to three years of age.
The SLP position will provide hands on Speech Therapy for children in the Early Childhood Intervention (ECI) program in the Alvin, Manvel and Rosharon areas of Brazoria County. Services are mostly provided in the child’s natural environment, so the applicant must be comfortable making home visits and driving to homes throughout the day. Home visits include parent education and working directly with the child. The SLP must be able to write effective treatment plans and goals for the child, as well as working in a team environment, with professionals and the community. Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills are required to meet billing requirements and strict timelines.
*Essential Functions*_*:*_
1. Evaluate children in the ECI program to determine speech eligibility and needs.
2. Participate with other disciplines and parents in establishing the child’s Individual Family Service Plan (IFSP) and goals.
3. Provide speech-language therapy and developmental services to the children enrolled in ECI services.
4. Coach parents to carry out development activities independently at home.
5. Complete all documentation and reporting as required by our program and Texas Health and Human Services.
6. Monitor the child’s progress, reviewing and updating strategies as needed.
7. Attend staff meetings, in-services and scheduled meetings as required by supervisor.
*Qualifications:*
1. Master’s Degree from an accredited school of speech-language therapy.
2. Current licensure from the Texas State Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology.
3. Certificate of Clinical Competence from American Speech-Language Hearing Association.
4. Maintain current CPR and First Aid Certification.
5. Maintain CEU’s as appropriate.
*Working Conditions: *
1. Must be able to lift and carry heavy objects.
2. Drive for long periods of time.
3. Must be able to physically get on and off the floor.
4. Must be able to walk, stand, sit, crawl, twist, kneel, stoop, climb stairs, see, hear, write, count, read and tell time.
5. Working condition include slippery/uneven walking surfaces working closely with others, working alone, occasional excessive heat. Cold and wet conditions.
6. Participate in the Central Registry and criminal background check, including fingerprinting every two years.
7. Must have a valid driver’s license
8. Able to sit or stand for extended periods of time
9. Work under stringent deadlines

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
