*Position Summary*
Join Modoc Medical Center as a Physical Therapist and make a meaningful impact across a variety of care settings in our close-knit rural community! You’ll provide personalized, one-on-one therapy sessions—without productivity quotas—across our outpatient clinic, inpatient and swing bed units, skilled nursing facility, and more. This unique role lets you focus on what matters most: helping patients of all levels achieve their best recovery. *Essential Responsibilities*
* Administer prescribed physical therapy treatments and evaluate their effectiveness, recommending adjustments as needed
* Conduct assessments and reassessments across all patient populations
* Maintain accurate, timely documentation and patient billing
* Ensure compliance with regulatory, safety, and infection control standards
* Collaborate with medical staff and participate in quality improvement initiatives
* Manage patient pain and coordinate interventions with physicians
*Minimum Qualifications*
* Valid California Physical Therapist license or certification
* Current BCLS certification
* Solid knowledge of physical therapy modalities, anatomy, physiology, disease processes, and rehabilitation
* Familiarity with infection control, sterile techniques, and safety protocols
*Preferred Qualifications*
* Physical therapy experience, including work with diverse populations (neonates to geriatrics)
* Strong interpersonal and team collaboration skills
* Familiarity with rural healthcare practices

* *Sign-On Bonus for Full-Time Hires: $7,500 paid during the first payroll of employment; $7,500 paid after the completion of 2 years of employment*
* Relocation Reimbursement (for eligible applicants): Up to 1,500 miles - $2,500; Over 1,500 miles - $5,000
