We are now looking for a Head of Sales & Events to lead and grow our commercial and events strategy for the upcoming opening of the new Hard Rock Hotel Malta.

As Head of Sales & Events, you will be responsible for driving all sales and events initiatives for the property, ensuring revenue growth, operational excellence, and an exceptional guest experience:
Develop and implement the hotel's overall sales strategy, including F&B, MICE, and leisure segments. Lead the events and banqueting teams, coordinating across internal departments (F&B, marketing, operations, AV, housekeeping) and external partners to deliver flawless events. Oversee key accounts, corporate clients, and partnerships to maximize revenue opportunities. Manage all event budgets, negotiations, and contracts to ensure profitability. Provide leadership in planning, execution, and post-event reporting, maintaining brand standards at every touchpoint. Stay informed on market trends, competitor activity, and guest expectations to identify new business opportunities. Mentor and develop the sales and events teams, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and collaboration. Job Requirements
5+ years in a senior sales and/or events leadership role, preferably within luxury hotels, lifestyle resorts, or high-end hospitality. Proven track record in achieving revenue targets and managing high-volume events. Strong leadership, negotiation, and client relationship management skills. Exceptional organizational and project management abilities. Creative, solution-oriented mindset with attention to detail and guest experience. Proficiency in sales and event management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays. Degree in Hospitality, Business, Sales, or related field preferred.
