The Role:
Join a strategic investigation team dedicated to uncovering more profound insights into the automotive industry and customer needs, to identify future business opportunities. Your work will play a key role in shaping a comprehensive understanding of customer operations and how our solutions can deliver meaningful value. The team is internationally distributed (Lyon, Gothenburg, and Curitiba), with diverse responsibilities centered on market intelligence and analysis.
We’re looking for a driven and passionate individual to strengthen our efforts in strategic investigations and contribute to long-term business development.
Job Description:
As a Market Intelligence Analyst, you will lead Industry Vertical Investigations —in-depth market studies designed to uncover customer needs and industry-specific trends. These investigations will form the basis of your work, as you analyze key data related to safety and productivity within different industry sectors. Your assignment will be split into two main focus areas:
1. Safety
Analyze safety-related insights across industry verticals to identify what matters most to customers:
- What safety limitations currently affect their operations?
- What are the key industry-specific pain points?
- How are these industries preparing to address future safety challenges?
- What trends are emerging in safety solutions, and how do industries compare?
2. Productivity
Evaluate how productivity is viewed and challenged across different industries:
- What productivity constraints exist today?
- What are the most critical operational bottlenecks?
- What strategies are industries pursuing to improve productivity?
- What are the dominant trends, and where do industries differ or align?
Additional Focus: Automation
- Map the level of automation across each industry.
- Identify pain points and opportunities along the automation journey.
Your goal is to pinpoint where new offerings could create real customer value in terms of enhanced productivity and automation.
Collaboration & Travel:
You will work closely with an experienced strategic investigation team and build upon existing data to guide your research. Occasional travel may be required.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Fluency in French, and professional English.
- A degree in engineering, business, or finance (Master’s level or equivalent – BAC +5).
- Experience in market analysis and strategic business development is beneficial.
- A curious mindset with a strong interest in going beyond surface-level research.
- Independence, energy, and initiative to thrive in a cross-functional, international setting.
- Familiarity with automotive markets is a plus, though not mandatory.
This role focuses on understanding the broader ecosystem surrounding the vehicle, rather than the vehicle itself.
