*Job Summary*
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Speech Language Therapist to join our elementary school team serving students in grades K-6. The primary responsibility of this role is to evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders among young learners. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in pediatric speech therapy, with experience working within school settings. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' academic success and social development through targeted intervention and patient-centered care.
*Duties*
* Conduct comprehensive assessments of students’ speech, language, voice, fluency, and related communication skills to identify areas of need.
* Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s specific communication challenges and educational goals.
* Provide direct therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based techniques to improve speech clarity, language comprehension, and social communication.
* Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational staff to support students’ communication needs within the classroom environment.
* Monitor progress regularly and adjust therapy strategies accordingly to ensure optimal outcomes.
* Educate families about speech development milestones and strategies for supporting communication at home.
* Maintain detailed documentation of assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and compliance with school policies.
* Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to coordinate services and support early intervention initiatives.
* Stay current with advancements in speech-language pathology practices, particularly within pediatric populations.
