We are seeking a skilled and proactive *Scrum Master* who can guide teams, elevate Agile maturity, and support the successful delivery of high-quality digital products.
*Job Summary*
The ideal candidate is an experienced Scrum Master with 5+ years of hands-on Agile experience. This person excels at facilitating Scrum ceremonies, removing impediments, coaching teams, and ensuring alignment between product, engineering, and leadership. You will work closely with distributed teams to drive continuous improvement and deliver measurable results.
*Key Responsibilities*
*Scrum & Agile Facilitation*
* Lead and facilitate all Scrum ceremonies:
* Sprint Planning
* Daily Stand-ups
* Sprint Reviews
* Retrospectives
* Backlog Refinement
* Promote and reinforce Agile values, principles, and best practices.
* Support the Product Owner with backlog organization, prioritization, and user story clarity.
* Protect the team from distractions and external interruptions.
*Team Coaching & Delivery*
* Coach teams and individuals on Agile adoption and continuous improvement.
* Work with multiple Scrum teams simultaneously (as needed).
* Identify, track, and help remove impediments.
* Encourage data-driven decisions using Agile metrics such as velocity, burndown charts, and throughput.
* Foster a positive, collaborative, and accountable team culture.
*Project & Cross-Team Coordination*
* Facilitate communication across cross-functional teams.
* Monitor sprint progress, ensure delivery timelines are met, and escalate risks when needed.
* Collaborate with stakeholders on quarterly and annual roadmaps.
* Ensure the team’s deliverables meet quality and business expectations.
*Qualifications Required:*
* Bachelor's degree in *Computer Science, Engineering, Business*, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
* *5+ years of hands-on Agile/Scrum experience* as a Scrum Master.
* Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) and SDLC.
* Proficient in Jira and/or Azure DevOps.
* Proven experience leading cross-functional development teams.
* Excellent facilitation, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
* Ability to work effectively with distributed teams across multiple time zones.
* Servant-leader mindset with strong coaching abilities.
*Preferred:*
* Agile-related certifications such as:
* Certified Scrum Master (CSM) – Scrum Alliance
* Professional Scrum Master (PSM I/II) – Scrum.org
* SAFe Scrum Master (SSM) – Scaled Agile
* PMI-ACP (Agile Certified Practitioner) – PMI
* Experience delivering software, apps, or digital products.
* Knowledge of additional Agile tools (Trello, Asana, etc.).
* Experience coaching organizations during Agile transformations.
Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Miami, FL 33165
