We are seeking a Solutions Architect who can help shape and deliver our future‑state architecture bringing together billing, data warehousing, CRM, portals, and core domain platforms. This is a pivotal role for someone that thrives at the intersection of strategy, design, engineering, and business transformation.
Role Overview The Solutions Architect will design, develop, and guide the implementation of their next‑generation global payment ecosystem. This includes architecting a scalable billing engine, modern data warehouse, customer portals, domain services, and integrations with CRM systems including
NetSuite .
You will work across business units, engineering teams, and product functions to bring together multiple systems into a cohesive, resilient, and future‑proof architecture.
Key Responsibilities
Architect end‑to‑end solutions spanning billing systems, data warehousing, portals, domain services, APIs, CRM, and ERP.
Design and lead the build of a global billing engine capable of handling multi‑currency, multi‑region transaction volumes, pricing models, fee engines, and reconciliations.
Create scalable data warehousing architectures to support analytics, reporting, compliance, and financial intelligence.
Lead the design of customer and partner portals, ensuring excellent UX, secure access, and seamless integration into core platforms.
Define architectural standards, reference architectures, and integration patterns across the global platform.
Champion API‑first and domain‑driven approaches to platform consistency.
Technical Leadership
Collaborate closely with engineering leads to translate architecture into actionable technical requirements.
Provide hands‑on guidance in solution design, modelling, prototyping, and platform selection.
Ensure architectural alignment with engineering, security, and product roadmaps.
Conduct design reviews and ensure solutions meet scalability, performance, and compliance needs.
Systems Integration
Lead integration patterns between billing, data warehouse, CRM, portals, and core payment domains.
Architect and optimise integrations with
NetSuite , ensuring financial accuracy, transparency, and automation.
Work with business teams to understand end‑to‑end processes across onboarding, billing, settlement, support, and renewals.
Ensure an integrated “single source of truth” across systems and data layers.
Governance & Delivery
Contribute to architectural governance, documentation, roadmaps, and best practices.
Own architectural decision‑making for major programmes and initiatives.
Support project teams in delivery, decomposition, prioritisation, and solution alignment.
Identify risks, constraints, and dependencies across the platform ecosystem.
Key Skills & Experience
Proven experience as a Solutions Architect within payments, fintech, financial services, or complex transactional platforms.
Strong understanding of billing systems — rating engines, fee calculation, invoicing logic, reconciliation flows, multi‑tenant models.
Expertise in data warehousing (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, Azure Synapse, etc.) and modern data architectures.
Experience designing and integrating customer portals, dashboards, and self‑service capabilities.
Strong knowledge of domain‑driven design (DDD), microservices, and event‑driven architecture.
Proficiency with CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar) and deep understanding of
NetSuite
ERP integration.
Strong API and integration experience (REST, GraphQL, gRPC, events, iPaaS solutions).
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Leadership & Behaviour
Excellent communication skills — able to engage technical and non‑technical audiences.
Strong stakeholder management, influencing, and collaboration skills.
Ability to work in a fast‑paced, global environment with multiple teams and priorities.
Comfortable balancing strategic thinking with hands‑on architectural delivery.
Experience with global payment networks, card schemes, or regulated fintech environments.
Exposure to compliance, PCI standards, fraud, risk, or transaction monitoring systems.
Knowledge of finance, revenue operations, accounting logic, and billing compliance.
