Job Overview
We are seeking friendly, organized, and customer-focused Front of House Staff to join our dynamic team in a vibrant food service environment. The ideal candidate will excel in providing exceptional guest experiences, managing order processing, and maintaining a clean and welcoming atmosphere. This role is essential in ensuring smooth restaurant operations and delivering outstanding hospitality to our patrons.

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements to create a welcoming environment
  • Take customer orders accurately using POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
  • Handle cashiering duties, including cash handling and basic math calculations for bills and change
  • Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of food safety and handling procedures
  • Manage multiple tables or stations simultaneously with excellent time management skills
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization of the front of house area, including dining spaces and service stations
  • Provide attentive customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving issues promptly
  • Assist with opening and closing duties as needed, including setup and cleanup of the service area

Skills

  • Proven experience with POS systems, particularly Micros POS or similar platforms
  • Previous restaurant or food industry experience preferred but not required; training will be provided
  • Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
  • Excellent time management abilities to handle busy service periods efficiently
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
  • Basic math skills for cashiering, cash handling, and bill calculations
  • Ability to serve guests courteously while maintaining a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills and teamwork orientation to collaborate effectively with kitchen staff and fellow team members
