Salesforce Loyalty Cloud Tech Lead Summary / Overview Lead the design, architecture, and implementation of Salesforce Loyalty Cloud solutions. Collaborate across business and technical teams to deliver scalable, integrated loyalty programs using Salesforce Loyalty Management, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and supporting technologies. Mentor development teams and drive end-to-end delivery excellence.

Location: On-site 2 - 4 days/week at in Toronto, Mississauga, London or Ottawa locations. ________________________________________

Responsibilities

  • Architect and implement multi-tier loyalty programs, including rules for earning, redemption, promotions, and partner incentives.

  • Lead technical delivery of Salesforce Loyalty Management Cloud integrated with Marketing Cloud, Service Cloud, and external systems (POS, payment gateways, CRM) via REST/SOAP APIs and Platform Events.

  • Design scalable data models for loyalty transactions (balances, earn/redeem histories

  • Develop custom loyalty features using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, and OmniStudio.

  • Implement CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab, Bitbucket, Azure DevOps, Copado) to streamline deployments.

  • Build dashboards and reports leveraging Salesforce Analytics (Einstein or Tableau CRM) to track program KPIs.

  • Ensure compliance with data privacy and security standards (GDPR, CCPA, PII).

  • Mentor junior developers; conduct architecture and code reviews to uphold quality and best practices.

  • Translate business requirements into technical solution architecture and articulate impact, risks, effort, and alternatives.

  • Maintain and enhance technical documentation (design specs, deployment guides, support manuals).

  • Stay current with Salesforce platform updates and guide the team on applying new features and capabilities Desired Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience: 8–10 years in Salesforce development, with hands-on expertise in Apex, LWC, Flows, and OmniStudio.

  • Salesforce Clouds: Proficient with Loyalty Management Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Service Cloud, and Salesforce integrations.

  • Integration Expertise: Strong REST/SOAP APIs, Platform Events, and middleware tooling knowledge.

  • DevOps Mastery: Experience with CI/CD tools like GitLab, Bitbucket, Azure DevOps, and Copado.

  • Analytics Skills: Knowledgeable in Einstein Analytics or Tableau CRM for KPI tracking.

  • Security & Compliance: Skilled in implementing GDPR, CCPA, PII, and general data security standards.

  • Leadership & Mentorship: Proven ability to lead teams, review designs/code, and engage with stakeholders.

  • Soft skills: Strong communication, problem-solving, and architectural thinking. ________________________________________
