Weekend Server

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a commitment to providing exceptional guest services. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in creating memorable dining experiences for our guests by delivering high-quality service, ensuring food safety, and maintaining a clean and inviting environment.

Duties

• Greet and welcome guests promptly with a friendly demeanor.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently using the POS system.
• Provide detailed menu information, including daily specials, and upsell additional items to enhance the guest experience.
• Ensure all food safety standards are met by properly handling, preparing, and serving food in accordance with health regulations.
• Sanitize tables, utensils, and service areas regularly to maintain cleanliness and hygiene.
• Deliver food and beverages to tables in a timely manner while checking on guests to ensure satisfaction.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, process payments, and provide change as necessary.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation of orders and address any guest concerns regarding their meals.
• Assist in training new staff members on service protocols and best practices.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in the food industry or hospitality is preferred but not required.
• Strong guest services skills with an emphasis on creating positive dining experiences.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods.
• Basic math skills for cash handling and processing payments accurately.
• Knowledge of food safety practices is essential for maintaining health standards.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
• A friendly attitude with strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
