At our location in Wedel near Hamburg, we are looking for a Global Medical Affairs Lead – Rheumatology, Urology, Oncology & Supportive Therapies (m/f/d).
- Management and further development of the department according to business unit objectives, including processes, resources and targets
- Definition, implementation, monitoring and controlling of medical strategy for designated focus areas
- Adoption of the procedural framework for department needs in order to attain its goals
- Establishing and maintaining comprehensive expert knowledge within the department
- Prioritization of activities within designated focus area in terms of financial and human resources
- Functional and disciplinary leadership of as well as cost and budget responsibility for the department
Your responsibilities
- Medical representative / first point of contact for all medical and scientific questions
- Development of “big picture” and medical strategies based on the medical orientation of medac products
- Defining and implementing medical strategies for designated focus areas including their integration into product strategies
- Administration of medical projects within the designated focus areas
- Global KOL networks to achieve medical affairs goals
- Development of stakeholder-oriented training concepts
The position includes authorities for department budget planning and management, strategic decision-making in the area of medical strategy and implementation in the designated focus areas in alignment with the Head of Global Affairs, financial and contractual signment and the neccessary access to digital infrastructure.
