The Opportunity: Partner, Cybersecurity & AI

We are seeking a seasoned and entrepreneurial Partner to join our team and lead our continued expansion in the cybersecurity and AI markets. This is a high-impact, high-autonomy role for a proven rainmaker and talent advisor. You will be responsible for originating new client engagements, strategically executing retained searches, and providing expert counsel to both clients and candidates. This is a chance to leverage your existing network and expertise to a new level, building and leading a practice with uncapped earning potential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Business Development:
    Act as a "rainmaker," consistently winning new retained search mandates by cultivating relationships with C-suite executives, boards of directors, and venture capital investors in the cybersecurity and AI spaces.
  • Executive Search Execution:
    Lead end-to-end retained search processes, including creating comprehensive candidate profiles, executing meticulous market mapping and sourcing strategies, and conducting in-depth candidate assessments and interviews.
  • Client & Candidate Management:
    Serve as a trusted strategic advisor to clients, guiding them through the hiring process and providing market intelligence. Also, manage and nurture relationships with high-caliber, "passive" candidates to ensure a robust talent pipeline.
  • Market Leadership:
    Become a visible thought leader in the industry by attending conferences, publishing insights, and building a strong personal brand that aligns with our firm's reputation for excellence.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven Track Record:
    A minimum of 7-10 years in retained executive search or a senior-level, in-house talent acquisition role, with a demonstrable history of success placing leaders in the cybersecurity and/or AI sectors. Minimum $1M in provable billings over the last 3 years.
  • Deep Domain Expertise:
    A nuanced understanding of the technical and business challenges in cybersecurity (e.g., cloud security, offensive/defensive security, identity and access management) or AI (e.g., machine learning operations, large language models, AI ethics).
  • Exceptional Network:
    A well-established and active network of C-suite, VP-level, and senior technical leaders within the target industries.
  • Consultative Skills:
    The ability to listen, synthesize complex client needs, and provide clear, strategic advice. You must be able to influence and manage high-level stakeholders.
  • Entrepreneurial Mindset:
    A self-starter with a passion for building a business, an appetite for autonomy, and a drive to exceed revenue targets.
