Communication & Graphic Design (Contract Role)

Position Summary The Deliverables & Graphic Design Coordinator supports the ministry of St. Andrew's by creating compelling visual, digital, and print content that helps communicate our mission with clarity and creativity. This contract role is responsible for a wide range of design deliverables, weekly video preparation, website updates, and social media postings. The position requires creativity, reliability, and strong organizational skills to ensure projects are completed on time and with excellence.

Weekly Responsibilities

  1. Posting of sermons to website and social media a. Editing sermon video (video and assets provided)

b. Uploading to social media (youtube and facebook)

c. Updating website sermon areas

Annual Responsibilities

  1. Design annual stewardship campaign logo, assets, and brochure

As Needed Responsibilities

  1. Designs occasional graphics to be used for t-shirts, print and digital advertising pieces, promotional mailers, brochures and other seasonal graphics

  2. occasionally updates other website content with provided materials.

  3. Composes and drafts social media updates for Facebook and Instagram (subject to approval by Staff Communications Lead).

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  1. Proficiency in graphic design software (Adobe Creative Suite preferred).

  2. Familiarity with video editing and formatting for online platforms.

  3. Knowledge of website content management systems (Squarespace).

  4. Strong understanding of social media platforms and scheduling tools.

  5. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

  6. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

  7. A creative eye for design with attention to detail.

Education & Experience

● Demonstrated experience in graphic design (portfolio required).

● Experience with video editing and social media management is highly desired.

● Prior work with a church or in a nonprofit setting is a plus.

Reports To: Tim Jenkins (Staff Communications Lead)

Hours & Compensation

● This is a contract role; hours vary by project throughout the year.

● Compensation commensurate with experience and scope of project.
