Conduct "business to business" sales calls on manufacturing and food processing facilities throughout the region for parts, service and service agreements. This is an introductory role into the compressor industry focusing on the Mechanical contracting business. Provide customer service, sales, and technical support to the sales force and customers. Promote and encourage "Profit Management" to ensure a profitable future for the company. Understand and implement policy to achieve both customer and company goals. Work closely with sales, fabrication, and vendors to facilitate the sales effort and meet customer requirements. Evaluate customer bid requirements, specifications, and other pertinent data. Prepare proposals using vendor software, sales catalogs and cost estimates according to technical and performance requirements. Aid in the design and development of equipment and systems, and redesign of existing systems. Notify inside and outside staff of new products and processes as needed. Facilitate prompt remedy of customer technical problems, complaints and failures. Maintain organization of order files, monitor in-house orders and assist sales and fabrication with project-related questions. Qualifications
Applicants must have 1+ years experience with air compressor service or sales or other sales (e.g., automotive, heavy equipment, rental yard, industrial supplies). Must be able to work independently to achieve targeted results. Well-organized and self-motivated. Excellent interpersonal and effective communication skills. Effective negotiating skills. Project management experience and teamwork skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office. Acceptable driving record required according to company guidelines. Additional Information
Pay range: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year (DOE) + Commissions and bonus opportunities. Physical Demand: N/A. Working Conditions: Office Environment. Training/Certifications: Training will be provided. Shift Time: Monday - Friday, 7am - 4pm. Travel: Acceptable driving record required according to company guidelines. Education: College degree preferred or equivalent industry experience. Location: USA:CA:Sacramento Seniority level
