Locum Occupational Therapist – Rehabilitation & Recovery Hubs

Job Overview: Join a dynamic team of 9 Occupational Therapists working across 3 Rehabilitation and Recovery Beds in Leeds. Our multidisciplinary team, including Physiotherapists, Nurses, and care staff, supports individuals post-hospital admission to regain independence and return home safely.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct person-centred OT assessments using a strength-based, personalised approach

• Develop and implement goal-led outcome plans

• Lead discharge planning for individuals returning home

• Collaborate closely with support workers to monitor and review patient progress

• Apply moving and handling expertise, including risk assessments and single-handed care principles

• Contribute to a 24-hour therapeutic and rehabilitation-focused culture

Requirements:

• HCPC-registered Occupational Therapist

• Proven assessment skills and experience in rehabilitation

• Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach

• Experience in manual handling and risk reduction strategies
