*Job Summary*
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing therapeutic interventions to help patients achieve their maximum functional potential. This role involves working in the outpatient clinic setting. The Occupational Therapist will collaborate with speech language pathologists and physical therapists to provide comprehensive patient care.
*Duties*
* Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and mental abilities to develop individualized treatment plans.
* Implement therapeutic interventions aimed at improving patients' daily living skills and overall quality of life.
* Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive patient care and progress tracking.
* Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, goals, and techniques for continued improvement at home.
* Document patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary based on ongoing evaluations.
* Communicate with and collaborate with COTAs and OTAs to ensure cohesive POC.
* Stay current with best practices in occupational therapy through continuous education and professional development.
*Skills*
* Strong knowledge of physiology and human anatomy as it relates to rehabilitation therapy.
* Excellent patient care skills with a focus on empathy and effective communication.
* Experience in the pediatric population is preferred but not required.
* Familiarity with Autism, Cerebral Palsy, ADHD, ADD, SPD, and other common childhood diagnoses is preferred.
* Ability to be flexible within treatment sessions to meet the child where they are.
* Experience with sensory processing strategies and interventions.
* Proficient in developing tailored therapeutic programs for diverse patient populations.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 50 per week
