About

More about the role

If you're looking to launch your career in communications and public affairs while working with some of the smartest and most supportive people in the business, this is a great opportunity. At Burson, you'll become part of a global network where collaboration, curiosity and creativity are at the heart of what we do. You'll also get exposure to high-profile projects across corporate communications, health, and public affairs.

We're looking for an intern who can support both our Corporate Communications and Public Affairs teams, with a strong interest in health, policy, and the broader health ecosystem. You'll work closely with teams supporting some of Canada's most respected and forward-thinking organizations, including major players in healthcare, technology, and the corporate sector.

Our internships are designed to give students or recent graduates meaningful, hands-on experience in an agency environment. You'll be involved in real client work, have access to senior leaders, and take part in internal learning and development sessions that will help you grow quickly.

Interns at Burson work closely with account teams and subject-matter specialists. You'll contribute to corporate communications, health communications, government and policy monitoring, and public affairs initiatives. You'll help support projects in media relations, digital and social content, stakeholder engagement and research.

Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
High attention to detail and a commitment to producing strong work
Curiosity, willingness to learn and the initiative to jump in where needed
Genuine interest in current affairs, health and public policy, and how media and public narratives are shaped
Comfort engaging with a fast-moving environment and collaborating with different teams
