  • Location: Montreal, hybrid model

  • Start date: Flexible

Context

This mandate is part of a global strategic initiative within a multinational manufacturing organization. The objective is to implement an enterprise-wide solution to ensure the integrity, quality, and governance of business-critical data across a complex technology ecosystem—including product information and material master data.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the end-to-end management of the Master Data Management (MDM) or Master Data Governance (MDG) solution deployment.

  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocations.

  • Define project scope, key milestones, and deliverables aligned with business goals.

  • Ensure compliance with enterprise data governance policies and best practices.

  • Oversee risk management, issue resolution, and change control throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Supervise data governance processes, quality initiatives, and system integrations (notably with SAP S/4 and third-party platforms).

Required Experience
  • 8+ years of project management experience in ERP or SAP-related environments, with a strong focus on data-centric initiatives.

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in delivering MDM or MDG solutions, ideally with SAP MDG.

  • In-depth understanding of master data frameworks, data governance models, and data quality management.

  • PMP certification or equivalent project management credential.

Skills and Profile
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities across technical and business teams.

  • Demonstrated leadership in cross-functional environments with multiple contributors.

  • Comfortable operating in dynamic, loosely structured settings with limited documentation and high third-party involvement.

  • High level of autonomy and ability to identify key success drivers and decision-makers without direct supervision.

  • Adaptable to shifting priorities and new business contexts.
