About
Field Service Engineer , you'll be out in the field, making sure our environmental, municipal, civil, and utilities assets stay in top condition. From urgent breakdowns to scheduled maintenance, you'll play a vital role in keeping our clients operational. Diagnose, repair, and maintain DGEMC-owned assets, including specialist utilities equipment (Road Sweepers, Tankers, Grabs, RCV's, Tippers & Specialist Vehicles/Equipment) Respond swiftly to service calls, ensuring downtime is minimised Use diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve mechanical and electrical issues Maintain accurate electronic work records via PDA Carry out PMI inspections and complete reports Manage your own time and stock levels efficiently About You We're looking for a hands-on technician with a problem-solving mindset. If you love working independently and thrive in a dynamic, on-the-go role, this is for you! Level 2 mechanical or engineering qualification (or equivalent) Full, valid UK driving licence Strong experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems Confident diagnosing and repairing diesel engines and electrical faults Competent in the use of diagnostic equipment Class 2 HGV licence desirable but not essential Great communicator and able to prioritise workload Don't worry if you don't tick every box, we're looking for potential and attitude as much as experience.
