GRRC Roofing is looking for a Construction Project Manager to oversee sites and roofing crews to ensure jobs are being done in a timely manner. The Project Manager duties and responsibilities would include:
- Planning the work to be done, getting the necessary personnel, and assigning the right duties to the right people
- Assigning and putting the correct people them on sites, as well as reprimanding and firing workers when needed
- Coordinating tasks by different people on different sites to ensure uniformity upon project completion
- Ensuring timely completion of the project to build client trust while avoiding unnecessary penalties
- Working within the budget by adequately estimating the costs and cutting unnecessary expenses
- Procuring and allocating resources to ensure there is no shortage while avoiding any unnecessary delays caused by management decisions
- Developing a plan of work for each site so each project can finish on time
- Excellence in planning how each process should be done, how resources are to be acquired, and when the project should be completed
- Reviewing the work of the Construction Crew to determine whether quality standards are being observed
This job is in person and would need the flexibility to drive to locations all over the GTHA and Niagara Region
Requirements:
-2-3 years as a Construction Project Manager
-Working at Heights Certifications
-Basics of Supervision (preferred)
-Ability to be a leader and supervisor for over 60 roofing employees
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45.00-$57.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
