*What You’ll Do*
As an LVT at HAH, you’ll work closely with our veterinarians and support team to provide excellent patient care, including:
* Assist veterinarians during exams, procedures, and treatments
* Obtain vitals and patient histories
* Perform venipuncture, urinary catheterization, and IV catheter placement
* Take high-quality digital radiographs
* Conduct in-house diagnostics (hematology, urinalysis, cytology, microbiology, etc.)
* Prepare patients and monitoring equipment for anesthesia; induce and intubate patients; monitor anesthesia safely and confidently
* Perform dental cleanings (prophy, charting, intraoral and panoramic radiographs if applicable)
* Fill and review prescriptions, maintain pharmacy records, and manage controlled drug logs
* Educate clients on medications, home care, nutrition, parasite control, and preventive medicine
* Participate actively in maintaining a clean, organized, and positive work environment
* And of course—other duties as needed in a fast-paced, supportive hospital
