We're now looking to strengthen Gabriel-Chemie's UK commercial team with an experienced, proactiveArea Sales Managerwho can grow and nurture their customer relationships across the region. Job Description As the Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing sales across the UK, managing key accounts, identifying new opportunities, and representing Gabriel-Chemie as a trusted technical partner. You will work closely with customers in packaging, plastics processing, manufacturing, and related industries to understand their needs and deliver solutions that support their operations.
Key responsibilities include: Managing and expanding a portfolio of customers across the UK Visiting customers regularly to provide technical guidance and commercial support Identifying and converting new business opportunities Preparing quotations, proposals, and forecasts Collaborating with our technical and production teams across Europe Monitoring market trends and competitor activity Representing GC at trade shows, events, and customer demonstrations The Successful Applicant The successful Area Sales Manager will be:- Experienced in B2B sales, ideally within plastics, chemicals, packaging, or manufacturing A strong relationship builder with excellent communication skills Comfortable managing a field-based role with regular travel Commercially sharp, proactive, and self-driven Able to interpret technical information and discuss product performance confidently Be able to visit the offices in Kent What's on Offer On offer is a competitive base salary, plus package; as well as the opportunity to join an organisation that are renowned for their expertise and adopt a close knit, collaborative culture!
