Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) - £120 - £135 per day - Term-Time Contract Are you an experienced teaching assistant passionate about supporting young learners in a vibrant primary school environment? If so, this opportunity in London could be perfect for you! A well-regarded Primary School in the Borough of Bexley is seeking Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTAs) to join their team from November 2025. This is a term-time only role paid on a daily rate. What will this HLTA position involve? Delivering planned learning activities and supporting children both in and out of the classroom Taking responsibility for whole classes in the absence of teachers Supporting children with additional learning needs and promoting inclusion Collaborating with teaching staff to contribute to lesson planning and children's progress Assisting with assessment, monitoring, and reporting on pupil development Please read on below to find out more about this HLTA opportunity ABOUT THE ROLE Supporting teaching and learning across key stages in a primary school Leading classes when required and assisting teachers in delivering curriculum £120 - £135 per day - Term-Time Contract (Daily pay based on experience) November 2025 Start - Term Time Only - Full Time availability preferred Based in the London Borough of Bexley ABOUT YOU HLTA qualification or equivalent experience Proven experience working with primary school children Confident in managing whole classes and delivering learning activities Strong communication and organisational skills Committed to supporting children's educational and social development ABOUT THE SCHOOL Well-regarded Primary School Inclusive and supportive community focused on pupil success Opportunities for professional development and progression Located in Bexley If you are interested in this HLTA opportunity, trial days / interviews can be arranged ASAP!
